Brain mapping is a non-invasive and painless recording that reveals how the brain areas linked to your symptoms or behaviors are functioning. This is helpful information since we can connect a client’s symptoms to the findings in their brain map. This data also brings clarity to what is the root of your symptoms. For example, it helps us see if your anxiety is really anxiety or if it originates from something else like trauma, insomnia, or mild traumatic brain injury. Counseling is most successful when looking at the organ we are working with. This way, we can provide the most accurate recommendations to deliver impactful outcomes.Our Approach
Our niche is helping people understand and experience the freedom, fullness of life, and peace that come from having an intimate relationship with Jesus. We often see individuals who are trying to live a godly life but not experiencing the truths and promises in the Bible.
Our sessions focus on helping clients apply Biblical truths to the hardships and decisions they face, as well as showing them how to be transformed by the renewing of their minds (Romans 12:2).
We support clients in receiving Jesus’ love in a way that transforms them, as well as helping them understand who they are in Christ. We walk clients through healing their hearts and being set free from anything that hinders them. We collaborate with patients on how to live in Christ’s sufficiency instead of their own, along with how to discern God’s voice so they can more closely follow Him daily.
The primary approach we use in individual counseling is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Research shows CBT can be as effective as medication for anxiety and depression. CBT helps clients understand how their thoughts affect their actions.
Every thought you have releases powerful chemicals (neurotransmitters) in your brain that influence your feelings and behaviors. Most people tend to believe their thoughts are true but rarely take the time to evaluate or question them. This generally results in agreeing with tons of inaccurate and negative thoughts over time which significantly and negatively impacts your life. CBT helps clients correct unhealthy thought patterns and establish new ways of thinking that positively impacts their life.
